About This Game
It is the year 3571 on Planet Earth. While technology is lost to humanity, remnants like aliens, droids, monsters, and mutant creatures persist. By sending an avatar to the future and controlling it remotely, you can safely engage in time travel to see how long you can endure. This role-playing game lets you craft an organic avatar to control, experiencing the thrills of time travel through exploration, socialization, labor, combat, skill progression, and death. Incorporating roguelike elements, the game features permanent death; if your avatar falls, the run is over and a new avatar must be created in a different version of Earth to avoid spacetime paradoxes. A third-person drone camera lets you view your avatar, but you can switch to an internal first-person camera for an FPS feel when using guns. You must survive against hunger and thirst by finding food and water through hunting, fishing, or foraging. The open-world sandbox allows you to collect wood and stone to craft items, weapons, and buildings with no specific goal other than survival. You can also recruit NPCs to your team, equipping them and issuing orders in a micromanagement style. Created by a single artist since 2012 as part of the 3571 Project, this title includes comics, films, music, and the game itself. Version 0.70 beta features include an XP RPG system, survival mechanics, inventory systems, destructible environments, both third-person and first-person combat, intelligent NPCs, procedural generation, a fast crafting system, and random events.
