About This Game

Immerse yourself in a world of magic, sorcery, and the unknown with Unison Shift's A Clockwork Ley-Line: The Borderline of Dusk, a Japanese modern fantasy adventure game and visual novel. The narrative unfolds through stunning artwork and excellent voice acting as you journey into the world of Ley-Line. Koga Michiru is a newly enrolled first-year student at an academy distinguished by a massive clock tower, situated deep within the mountains. On his very first day, he gets caught up in unexpected trouble and accidentally breaks what appears to be an expensive statue. To make amends for the damage, the principal orders him and the boy responsible for the incident to work for the school's “Bureau for the Investigation of Special Affairs.” Upon arriving at the Bureau's headquarters, located in the academy's vast underground library, they find a girl waiting for them with an expressionless look. She explains to the bewildered pair that magic is real within this academy. When the clock tower chimes, the “Realm of Night” manifests and merges with the school building. The Bureau's duty is to handle the supernatural issues that emerge. Consequently, Koga strives to defend the school from troublesome magical artifacts called “Mists”. The game features full Japanese voice acting with talents like Moriya Misono, Kawashima Rino, Kadokura Souichi, and Moka Choko. It offers a branching storyline that allows players to explore new routes with each playthrough. The artwork is created by industry artists Pero and Urabi. This is the first title in a trilogy, succeeded by Daybreak of Remnants Shadow and Flowers Falling in the Morning Mist.
