About This Game

In Apollo4x, you manage the transport of five resources across planets using restricted fuel, blending puzzle elements with resource management and tycoon strategy. Without build queues or competing AI players, the game features a "creeping doom" enemy that spreads across the map, requiring you to slow its growth and defend your colonies. This title breaks away from traditional 4X formulas, focusing instead on a puzzle economy where you match exports to imports. Combat involves a tactical card game inspired by tabletop mechanics, where you face four distinct enemy clans representing Death, War, Pestilence, and Famine, each requiring different tactics. There is no space combat, focusing strictly on ground warfare. Victory can be achieved through military conquest, economic stockpiling, or planetary expansion. The difficulty is entirely customizable, letting you control both economic resistance and enemy expansion rates to suit your playstyle.
