About This Game
Envision waking up one morning required to handle practically every task with a bow and arrow. Sounds crazy, right? That is exactly your situation now, and you must adapt your lifestyle. Work your way through various days serving ice cream to children, crafting vegetarian pizzas, tossing newspapers, cutting wood, catching fish, demolishing a lawnmower, and engaging in other antics. We do not judge, but we strongly encourage you to smash EVERYTHING! You are the VR master of #Archery, after all. Please do not attempt this in the real world. After playing this game, you can append the following job titles to your CV: Pizza Baker, Paper Deliver, Wood Chopper, Fisherman, Ice Cream Seller, Hot Dog Eater, Florist, Balloon Smasher, Gunslinger, Basketball Player, Whack-A-Moler, Airplane Crasher, Fluffy Unicorn Creator, Astronaut, Farmer, Hunter, Bowler, Chef, Zombie Killer. VRUnicorns is a collective of European game jammers. We love creating quirky semi-realistic room scale VR sports games with a bit of grotesque humor. A bit of our #Archery story: Jakob and Max have been acquainted for many years, since way back. Julie and Max first crossed paths at Shayla Games in Spring 2015. Max and Julie arranged a Vive Jam in Stockholm in Autumn 2015, and Max invited Jakob, who mostly sat grumpily in a separate room. Julie organized a Vive Jam in Copenhagen in early 2016, and Max brought Jakob along. Jakob remained grumpy but very productive, and PizzaHood was the initial version of what we now call #Archery. Jakob and Max kept developing PizzaHood and became part of VRUnicorns in early Summer 2016 (talks started in Amsterdam), and Julie joined the dev team as the #IdeaGuy (meaning all talk - no talk...testing and giving feedback). She insisted on the name #Archery for the game for reasons only she knows. Julie was finally allowed to join the dev team properly in early 2017 (she was kicked out of version control many times prior), and Horatiu is also working on #Archery now between #SelfieTennis and #Utopia.
