Are you ready to take the controls, old veteran? Asteroid Bounty Hunter offers more than just destroying asteroids. The story follows John, a veteran trying to atone for his past mistakes, accompanied only by his caring AI. As the plot unfolds, you will discover secrets about John's life. The gameplay focuses on dodging and destroying, but you must outmaneuver constantly changing enemies while saving planets from incoming rocks and dealing with other bounty hunters. Features include unique boss fights with varying difficulties, defending planets, and battling rivals. The concept involves farming experience to unlock upgrades. You can gather mastery points from enemy ships to unlock new vessels. If you struggle, replay earlier levels to farm experience for limitless upgrades. Each level offers a quest with a unique, one-time ship upgrade. The game includes over 100 asteroids of different sizes and textures, five types of bounty hunters trying to kill you, and five bosses with unique mechanics. Your ship has four abilities: Basic Attack (limited to 3 particles), Photon Swarm (powerful energy balls with 3 charges), Death Ray (a high-damage laser with a long cooldown), and Final Blast (an ultimate attack with a 60-second cooldown). Upgrades are split into Global (limitless points for shield, cooldown, damage) and Abilities (6 specific upgrades). There is no level cap. Five ships are available, each with unique passive bonuses, including a special ship with all bonuses. The game features amazing space graphics, high-resolution planets and stars, and an advanced GUI with customizable controls, graphics, and audio, including controller support.
