During the mid-21st century, the decline of the natural environment led to the resurgence of powerful diseases akin to those of the dark ages. With infection rates soaring and traditional medicine failing, pharmaceutical giants poured resources into nano-machine technology. This resulted in the NCR (Nano Core Robot), a potent weapon against sickness, though its true nature remains a mystery. Players assume control of an NCR unit, fighting for a global corporation against viruses on the front lines. Key features include origins from a 2017 Game Jam based on "Waves," a distinctive art style depicting the internal battlefield, realistic viruses mixed with sci-fi elements, support for 2-4 player local co-op, and combat against both diseases and the patient's hostile immune system.
