About This Game

Set during the era historian Antony Beevor called "Hitler's Last Gamble," Battle of the Bulge offers an immersive tactical and operational experience, placing players in command of Allied or German forces fighting in the brutal, snow-covered forests of the Western European Ardennes. Command infantry, mechanized, and armored units through the offensive's phases, considering terrain effects on attackers and defenders. Beyond direct combat, you must manage supply lines carefully; a rapid breakthrough risks isolation and enemy flanking. Time is critical, as scenarios have limits and "semi-historical" events affecting operations. Take control of elite units like the 101st Airborne Division or Kampf Gruppe Peiper to reinforce frontline hotspots. Challenge commanders like Bradley, Dietrich, and von Rundstedt against a rewritten AI with different playstyles. You can also challenge friends cross-platform in multiplayer or test skills in the new Tournament feature. New features include Slitherine's PBEM multiplayer supporting cross-platform play, paired/private matches, tournaments, a rewritten AI, language selector, master volume, 4K support, and a PC-like save system with slots and auto-saves, plus extensive historical photos and commentary. Features include unique AI personalities, fast turns with deep strategy, scenarios from quick fights to full campaigns, tutorials and strategy forums for learning, full rules for advanced players, historical photos, and localization for Spanish and Japanese. This is the first WWII title from legendary designers John Butterfield, Ted Raicer, and Mark Herman.
