Twenty years after the 8-bit classic's debut, Bionic Commando Rearmed rebuilds the original world with a comprehensive "2.5D" graphical update. It retains the signature mix of grappling and shooting in an intense 2D side-scroller, accompanied by a new soundtrack inspired by the NES masterpiece's chiptune score.

Rearmed offers more than just a remake; it includes fresh modes like 2-player co-op, enhanced enemy AI, new bionic arm skills, additional weapons, larger bosses, and online leaderboards. Remaining faithful to the NES narrative, the game follows Nathan "R.A.D." Spencer's first mission to rescue captured agent Super Joe from the Imperials.
