About This Game
Black Jewel is a PC title designed with a C64 retro style, showcasing pure pixel art and a simple premise that is difficult to master. Play as Ryan, a barbarian hero who must recover the Black Jewel from the clutches of Darkor and bring it back to his realm. The game offers keyboard or joypad support, a CRT filter for that classic retro atmosphere, five distinct areas (including forest, ruins, and castle) with over 50 screens of old-school pixel art, five tough bosses, pixel art illustrations for the intro and ending, a best score tracking system, and an original soundtrack with five tracks composed by Gianluca Pappalardo.
