Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night provides the complete action RPG experience, focusing on exploration and side-scrolling mechanics typical of the Metroidvania genre. You play as Miriam, an orphan afflicted by an alchemist's curse that slowly crystalizes her body. To survive and rescue humanity, she must battle through a demon-infested fortress conjured by Gebel, a former friend whose form is now mostly crystal. The title includes 13 free DLCs scheduled for future release, plus the Speed Demon Update—which adds Speed Run Mode, Boss Rush Mode, and the Pure Miriam outfit—from the start. The game features addictive gameplay and a rich gothic dark fantasy narrative designed by Koji Igarashi, the godfather of "Igavania." Story cutscenes and NPC dialogues are fully voice acted by a stellar cast, including David Hayter, Ray Chase, and Erica Lindbeck. Three playable characters are available, with two remaining a mystery. You will find an overwhelming number of weapons and spells to upgrade, level, and customize visually. The graphics are presented in a stunning 2.5D style, using 3D models within a 2D world to execute visual tricks impossible in traditional 2D.
