About This Game

Brigade E5: New Jagged Union drops players into Palinero, a tiny tropical nation facing an impending civil war. Your objective is to gather a group of mercenaries and stabilize the failing state to avoid total ruin. The plot allows gamers to explore three unique perspectives on the conflict or navigate the political landscape to meet their own ambitions for global power. Combat utilizes the innovative SPMĀ® (Smart Pause Mode), which integrates real-time and turn-based elements seamlessly.

Unlike conventional turn-based systems, this title avoids "action points" in favor of character skills and attributes, creating more realistic and varied unit actions. Additionally, players can program a string of commands for automatic execution. The weaponry options are vast, featuring over 100 meticulously modeled guns, various ammo types, grenades, armor, and special gear. Guns can be modified and upgraded with items like sniper scopes, mini grenade launchers, and bayonets. The game includes comprehensive LAN and Internet Multiplayer options, offering CTF, Deathmatch, and Fortress modes. SPMĀ® adds a unique dimension to squad combat strategy, enabling players to command their troops concurrently, even leveraging the enemy's pause time.
