About This Game
This tense solo title, originally from Games Workshop, is a classic test of courage. In 2032, Manhattan's center is threatened when spatial warping tears a hole to another dimension inside the old government buildings. Frightening and hazardous beings are pouring into our reality, aiming to wreak havoc. Guided by a mastermind called 'Darkness', these entities seek to pull New York into the warp and annihilate it completely. Standard military tactics like airstrikes, ground attacks, and WMDs have proven useless against the invading hordes. Humanity's last chance lies with a mysterious ex-special forces operative, modified for battle and called 'Chainsaw Warrior'. Armed with state-of-the-art weaponry, he must fight through to the dimensional rift's epicenter to destroy Darkness. He faces numerous threats, including zombies, mutants, traps, Chaos Agents, and other warped creatures, but time is also running against him. He has just one hour to rescue the city before it vanishes from existence. Originally a solo board game released in 1987, this version has been reimagined for modern gamers. It is a desperate fight against time and evil; can you succeed where everyone else failed? You have 60 minutes to prevent New York's doom.
