About This Game
It is 1967, and the conflict stemming from the Cuban Missile Crisis has evolved into World War III. The use of nuclear arsenals has caused global cooling, changing history and intensifying the fight to survive. Following the capture of Europe and Africa, the Soviet government launches an unprecedented military campaign known as Ice Crusade. Soviet troops march through the Arctic to strike defenseless American cities and towns. The desolate regions of Mexico and the frozen cities of America become the new theaters of war. As a standalone follow-up to the RTS, it combines turn-based tactics with real-time strategy. Features include new battlegrounds in the southern USA and northern Mexico, two new campaigns for the USSR and USA with 10 scenarios and over 25 strategic missions, 22 new units such as the T-60 and Chieftain, and two new super units: the Convair-49 and the Tyulpan 240mm mortar.
