Included in the Warm Damp Hug Edition are Dropsy’s official digital soundtrack by Chris Schlarb, the Eternal Hug music EP by Jay Tholen, and Dropsy's Book of Secrets, which features over 100 pages of sketches, concepts, and designer notes. In the game, a catastrophic circus fire destroys Dropsy’s reputation and livelihood. With his father critically ill and society turned against him, the clown embarks on a path of self-discovery fueled by love and unearned kindness. To achieve redemption, Dropsy must assist the needy, embrace strangers, reveal hidden mysteries, and utilize his ability to speak with animals. This title reimagines the classic point-and-click genre by allowing players to explore an open world at their own pace, choosing their own adventure routes rather than following a linear narrative. Interaction relies on visual icons instead of text-based dialogues. Players must navigate challenging puzzles and use hugs to solve the riddles guarding Dropsy’s mysterious past, aided by his animal companions. Additionally, the soundtrack by Chris Schlarb offers a distinct musical identity for every environment, blending electric piano, dub reggae, and rock elements.
