Millennia ago, Direshade Fortress was forsaken after a sinister power surged from the earth below, birthing a labyrinth of horrors. It became a forbidden zone where only the foolhardy dared to go, never to return. Yet now, the shadows are extending outward from Direshade as a dark presence swells within its depths. With the kingdom in peril, the King has selected you, his most courageous knight, to journey to Direshade Fortress. Your mission is to enter the dungeon, survive its perilous architecture filled with traps and monsters, and reach the core to obliterate the growing darkness. Dungeoneer is a pre-rendered first-person interactive cinematic narrative. Assuming the role of a knight, you must find entry into the dark and mysterious dungeon that burst from the ground. You will explore the dungeon's gloomy chambers, unsure of what lies beyond each door or what malevolent entities and lethal traps await. Armed with sword and shield, you will gather numerous items and magical spells throughout your quest, requiring you to utilize them wisely. The game is controlled primarily using the mouse; point and click to interact with the environment and follow a cinematic story that leads you into the dungeon's unknown depths.
