About This Game

Earthworms is an independent artistic point-and-click adventure set in a surreal science-fiction universe. Every setting in the title is hand-painted and presented from a distinct viewpoint. In terms of the story, you assume the role of Daniel White, a private investigator possessing psychic powers. The visions he receives assist him in cracking cases. What initially appears to be a simple investigation into a missing teenager from a small fishing town soon reveals itself as a path to a massive worldwide conspiracy, filled with increasingly bizarre encounters. This is more than a casual stroll; it is a mind-blowing epic journey. The game's motto is a quote from William Shakespeare: “There are more things in Heaven and Earth, than are dreamt of in your philosophy”. Key features include exploring and interacting with 34 hand-drawn environments influenced by the art of Edward Hopper. Players will adventure through a mysterious realm combining pulp fiction themes, surrealism, and high science. The game features a stunning, grand musical score alongside numerous difficult logic puzzles that complement standard inventory mechanics. Earthworms offers a mix of horror thrills, humor, beauty, and grotesqueness, rejecting boring narratives in favor of the weird.
