About This Game

Global ATC Simulator provides a standalone experience simulating the roles of Tower, Approach, and Departure controllers. Distinguished from other simulations by its global coverage, the game features nearly 14,000 airports with exceptional detail. It utilizes a licensed database identical to those used by airliners, ensuring accurate routing and procedures. Aircraft behave realistically, matching the specific types and airlines found at each airport. While a gaming mode offers increasing traffic difficulty, the core experience is a serious simulation requiring attention to aircraft size differences, such as the massive turn radius of an A380 compared to a Twin Otter, as well as variable wind and visibility. Players must manage irregular traffic flow, using holding patterns when necessary and monitoring fuel levels to avoid emergencies. The game supports extensive user-generated content, allowing players to edit virtually every aspect, from aircraft performance to adding new airlines. Key features include close to 14,000 airports with detailed navigation data, over 100 airlines, 80 realistic aircraft types, an updatable navigation database, scenarios, real-time weather, Windows 7/8 touch support, and LAN multiplayer.
