About This Game

As the Organon schemes to destroy Deponia and Goal vanishes once more, Rufus continues to stand in his own way. The dream of the inventor Rufus is to depart the junkyard planet for Elysium, the paradise reserved for the upper class, with Goal being his ticket to the elevator. Although he devises a seemingly flawless strategy to achieve this, everything that can go wrong does. Rufus finds himself disguised on a cruiser with Organon officials while Goal is lost. He attempts to use a cloning machine to solve his problems, but a malfunction complicates the situation, and Goal escapes his grasp. He now faces three major tasks: retrieving Goal, reaching Elysium, and preventing the planet's destruction. Consequently, the hapless inventor clones himself, requiring the player to control all three Rufuses simultaneously to navigate the challenges. Goodbye Deponia is the epic conclusion to the series, created by the makers of Edna & Harvey and Memoria. It delivers a classic point-and-click experience inspired by Douglas Adams, featuring hand-drawn HD 2D graphics, sarcastic exchanges, black humor, and animated cutscenes.
