About This Game

Insane 2 introduces several innovations to the off-road racing genre. In addition to the classic time trial, the game boasts nine distinct modes encompassing well-liked options like "Capture the flag", "Gate hunt", and "Pathfinder", alongside new formats such as bonus hunting, territory control, and helicopter pursuit. Each of these modes supports multiplayer gameplay for up to eight concurrent players. Over one hundred and fifty races are organized into championships and cup competitions set across Europe, America, Africa, and the Antarctic. The title presents a vast array of long-distance tracks ranging from sandy and snowy deserts to high-speed roads and rough cross-country terrain, including African beaches and abandoned Antarctic outposts. Players can choose from 18 vehicles across various classes, ranging from buggies to massive "Bigfoots," plus a unique prototype class. Rating points earned during races can be spent on upgrades, offering 15 options for running gear, bodywork, or engines. Every car is equipped with a sophisticated destruction system; navigating a course without sustaining damage is a formidable task achievable only by a select few. Beyond opponents who constantly generate chaos, players must also avoid hazards like railway crossings, large tanker trucks, and lightning during storms. Key highlights include: 18 vehicles spanning six categories such as 4x4s, SUVs, pick-ups, trucks, extreme vehicles, and prototypes; 20 locations with 170 races across four continents (Eurasia, America, Africa, and the Antarctic); 10 game modes that are all multiplayer-compatible; a rating and achievements system; and intricate vehicle destruction alongside car tuning capabilities.
