About This Game
Experience the Middle Ages in KNIGHTS and MERCHANTS. Although the map is fictional, the visuals and setting are historically rooted in the Anglo-Saxon year of 1200 A.D., featuring no fantasy beasts. You assume the identity of a captain in the Palace Guard. Following a plot against the monarch, you are tasked with protecting the final royal province, the sole remnant of a fractured realm now ruled by squabbling lords. Even the king, stationed in his capital, faces the threat of opposing forces, marking the beginning of your quest to reclaim the lost territories.
THE SHATTERED KINGDOM:
After numerous conflicts, a once-great realm has been fragmented into small principalities and earldoms. The king's forces have retreated to the last royal province, while civil wars ravage the land. Now, the former capital is besieged by rebel armies. As one of the few remaining loyalists, you must rush to the aid of the king against this looming threat.
THE PEASANTS REBELLION:
Establish a thriving settlement with a fully functional economy. Train and equip your soldiers to face the enemy in open battle. Achieve these objectives to restore peace and freedom for the king's subjects.
GAME FEATURES:
