Magicka

Set in a Norse-inspired fantasy realm, Magicka offers a satirical take on the action-adventure genre. You play as a wizard from a sacred order charged with thwarting an evil sorcerer whose dark creations are besieging the land. Users can meld elements to forge spells, unleashing destruction upon dark minions. The game supports teaming up with allies to conquer the campaign or honing magical skills in various challenging modes. Supporting up to four players, Magicka sends adventurers on a quest to avert doom using a completely dynamic spell system. The adventure spans diverse environments, from mountain valley forests to the Mountain King's icy halls, demanding cleverness to win. There is also an unlockable hardcore challenge mode where players fend off enemy waves to climb local and online leaderboards.
