About This Game
MegaRace 2 is the successor to the 1994 combat racing hit, developed once more by Cryo Interactive. The game introduces upgrades such as fully rendered 3D cars, new armaments, and circuit shortcuts. The eccentric host Lance Boyle, portrayed by Christian Erickson of "Hitman" fame, makes a return. He is joined by a stunning female co-host whose name constantly changes. As a first for the series, this entry allows players to shoot weapons backward at pursuing vehicles and introduces cash prizes for winning races. This currency can be spent on purchasing new cars and upgrading weapons. Each race offers multiple routes to the finish line. MegaRace 2 launched on PC in 1996.
