Next Up Hero

Next Up Hero is a dungeon crawler in the style of Gauntlet, featuring hand-drawn heroes who hack, slash, shoot, drum, boomerang, jet, and explode their way through Ventures. Choose your Hero (or invite a friend for co-op) and begin rolling dungeons, gearing up, and maximizing stats against the Ceaseless Dirge. If you defeat the bosses, you can craft your own dungeon for the community. Clear the dungeon? Then try it on Insane mode. Complete that? Min-max your favorite character. If you max all heroes, let the developers know what you want next. If you did all that, try again with a co-op partner. Death is permanent, so your "echo" stays for the next player to raise. Since people die often, you can resurrect up to 20 AI followers. The game supports Mixer Interactive, where spectators can control the echo army to help the hero or buff the Dirge enemies to slow them down. Supported gamepads include Microsoft Xbox 360/One controllers, Sony PS4 DualShock 4, and various Logitech models.
