Niche - a genetics survival game

Niche is a fresh mix of turn-based strategy, simulation, and roguelike mechanics. You must shape your own species of animals that resemble foxes, bears, cats, or dogs using authentic genetics. Keep your pack alive against dangers like illness, hunger, weather changes, and hostile creatures. If your species goes extinct, the game ends, and you must begin your evolution again. Key features include a living, dynamic world to test survival skills, a breeding system based on real genetics, over 100 genes to shape your species, and procedurally generated worlds and animals. Explore five biomes featuring unique predators, prey, and flora. The game mechanics are inspired by population genetics.
