About This Game

Out of Space is a cooperative multiplayer title supporting both local and online play, centered around sharing a cosmic residence. You and your companions will move into a space dwelling, tasked with handling a deadly alien invasion and the difficulties of constructing a sustainable vessel to make it feel like home. Each match begins in a procedurally generated spaceship, requiring excellent planning and collaboration to turn it into a clean, comfortable environment. You must produce resources, recycle waste and alien slime, purchase and construct new technologies, and look after each other to transform the chaotic mess into a home. Designed as a couch-fun experience, the game offers short matches that are easy for anyone to pick up and play. Simultaneously, it serves as a strategy game demanding both short and long-term decisions, such as claiming new rooms and building automation technology. Key features include buying, building, and placing tech while maintaining system efficiency, powering the ship by recycling alien goo into batteries, harvesting gardens for food, cleaning rooms with water and mops to contain aliens, napping on the sofa while friends cry for help, automating tasks with robots, and adopting helpful dogs. Additional features include a procedural spaceship generator for unique challenges, missions that guide player progression while maintaining the fun factor, unlockable content via achievements, and support for single-player, local, and online multiplayer. There are no weapons; you must use a mop to clean your way out of danger. Behold Studios, the creators of Knights of Pen & Paper, Chroma Squad, and Galaxy of Pen & Paper, is developing this title with community support, sharing builds and listening to feedback to improve the experience.
