Planet Driller

Earth is in desperate need of DarkMatter, a resource recently discovered in another galaxy. Your mission is to drill into a distant planet, collect the substance, and rescue the world. The game features a procedurally generated world that offers over 4 billion unique possibilities depending on the seed and difficulty. A dynamic economy is in place where the value of minerals drops based on how much you find. The audio environment is unique, featuring procedurally generated MIDI music. You start with a basic ship that suffers from slow drilling, limited storage, and weak armor, but selling minerals allows you to purchase upgrades for all these components. To assist your journey, various tools are available, including explosives to clear paths, beacons for teleportation, and insurance for ship replacement. The hostile planet environment includes natural disasters like earthquakes and blizzards. Once you have maxed out upgrades, you can buy new, more powerful ships. The game also supports Steam Trading Cards, Achievements, and Leaderboards.
