Inspired by the popular webcomic, On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode One is the debut of this RPG-Adventure saga. Players design their own hero in the distinctive comic art style and join forces with Gabe and Tycho within the alternate 1920s realm of New Arcadia. Gameplay involves fighting fierce enemies, uncovering mysteries, interacting with strange characters, and experiencing the franchise's unique humor for a truly authentic Penny Arcade adventure. The game features a Create-a-Player System that renders your character in 3D gameplay and 2D comic cutscenes. Combat utilizes a dynamic turn-based system with wild animations and cooperative team-up moves. Classic adventure mechanics merge with RPG elements to solve puzzles. The story and dialogue provide an authentic Penny Arcade experience, written exclusively by Jerry 'Tycho' Holkins.
