Meanwhile, in a different place, a girl awakens with no memory of recent events, her identity, or her location. Her only clues are an open diary, the strange shrine maiden attire she wears, and her possession of extraordinary hearing and memory. Confused, she peruses the diary... "If you are reading this, my plans are already in motion; The die has been cast. It may be a poor choice, perhaps a huge mistake, but it is necessary, or my life's work is void. Please, forgive me, forgive us." This was written on the few pages. Seeing no reason to remain in an empty building, the amnesic girl sets out. The game features a story without true villains told from various viewpoints, puzzles designed to test lateral thinking, a massive building with diverse aesthetics to explore (though you might not be alone), a colorful cast of characters whose abilities affect gameplay, multiple endings based on your choices, a roster featuring Shrine Maidens, Fairies, handsome youths, and cool elders, and varied settings including an empty office, a mysterious castle, and a game within a game.
