Shio defies typical platformer conventions by using floating lanterns as essential tools for exploration rather than mere decoration. Navigating this world requires immense wit and dexterity. To understand the masked man and his past, you must look beyond the obvious path and find hidden rooms. As an original side-scrolling game, your primary adversary is the environment itself. The adventure spans four chapters, each characterized by distinct moods and weather systems that influence gameplay. Players will face diverse traps that must be mastered to progress. The audio experience is highlighted by a unique soundtrack composed for each chapter. The game's driving force is the sad and mysterious story of the silent masked protagonist. Developed by Coconut Island Games, the project began with Liao Yi during university and was showcased at IGF China 2014 before being polished by a team including Deng Bu Ran, Ge Xuanqing, Cai Baowei, and Li Lingyi.
