About This Game

When the head of SinTEK Industries starts flooding the streets with a DNA-changing substance, it is time to reconsider ethical standards. When that same twisted bio-chemist intends to conquer the globe using her unholy army of genetically modified mutants, the golden rule must be rewritten. You assume the role of Colonel John R. Blade, the leader of Freeport's most famous private security firm. Now, Elexis Sinclaire is launching her crusade against the security sector—and you are in her crosshairs. You have turned crime-fighting into a creed. Now, you must ensure Elexis answers for her transgressions. Updated Features: Included the "Wages of SiN" expansion pack. Implemented modernized Steam master server functionality. Added and restored the editing SDK. Incorporated support for extra 16:9 video resolutions. Restored and uncensored various original game assets. General Improvements: Enhanced math calculations, container types, and search algorithms. Brought back support for *.sin pack files and re-packed assets. Eliminated outdated IPX networking support. Reinstated the original sound and music engine. Switched video format to the open-source and patent-free OGV/Theora. Fixes: Resolved a crash occurring in the Docks cinematic. Corrected erratic behavior in Thug AI. Fixed undefined camera positioning and sporadic crashes during the Wages of SiN ending cinematic. The r_palettemode cvar for software mode now accurately reads and writes the configuration variable. Addressed memory corruption issues during multiplayer setup. The default cl_maxfps is now set to 200 to prevent the game from running too quickly. Fixed an issue with extremely loud audio on menu screens when the frame rate is high. Corrected a potential soft lock triggered by using menu hotkeys while inside an in-game computer console. Restored missing assets for the Beecadrone enemy.
