About This Game

Slice, Dice & Rice removes traditional health bars in favor of a system where every scratch hinders movement and any injury could be fatal. Designed to be accessible, the game uses intuitive basic controls so players do not need to memorize complex inputs, while still maintaining strategic depth. Combat mechanics include feinting attacks, parrying, dodging, and weapon clashing, creating a psychological experience similar to authentic samurai duels. Players can choose from 8 distinct characters, each offering unique narratives and combat styles, ranging from a fist-fighting monk to a powerful woman wielding a massive sword. Battles occur across 6 hand-drawn stages set in an alternate vision of the Japanese underworld.
