About This Game
Spanning three distinct historical periods, these scenarios allow you to uncover the dark ancestry of the Bruce family. You control a character intent on killing and avoiding blame by implicating someone else. You will navigate a 15th-century English castle and a Wild West saloon, before eventually arriving at Dunshiel House fifty years before the original game.
As in The Deed, your choices determine the result, leading to one of many possible conclusions that are even more diverse now. There are countless ways to kill, numerous evidence items to exploit, and a wide array of characters to take the fall.
Discover the Environments
This expansion seeks to offer richer, more diverse settings that immerse players in different historical times, be it Medieval England under Henry IV, a rugged town in the Old West, or a grand Victorian manor.Encounter the Characters
Each scenario features various non-player characters, some modeled after real historical people, and almost all can be framed for the murder. The dialogue system has been enhanced to give players more control and branching options for a unique experience each time.Select Your Weapon
Pick from various weapons suitable for the era, ranging from a medieval greatsword to household scissors or a classic six-shooter. Decide which killing method will likely incriminate a character other than yourself.Hide the Proof
Evidence items can be used in multiple ways to heighten the authorities' suspicion. Think strategically about which piece of evidence to plant and where to ensure it frames the intended character.Confront the Law
The stakes are undoubtedly higher this time. While prison is a risk, you might also face the executioner's block or the hangman's noose. Punishment in historical times was often brutal. Can you commit the deed and escape such a grim end?
