About This Game

Peace is now a distant memory. Following the Noble Faction's occupation of Heimdallr, civil war has torn Erebonia apart. Provincial armies loyal to the aristocracy and the Four Great Houses have seized major cities for the Noble Alliance, while the Imperial Army has only just begun its massive counterattack. After escaping Trista with Celine and Valimar, Rean awakens in the mountains near his hometown, unaware of the fate of the friends who risked themselves to ensure his escape. Despite the difficult path ahead, Rean resolves to wield his sword again, journeying across Erebonia with Valimar to locate his Class VII comrades and bring an end to the conflict before the price becomes unbearable. Set on the same continent as the Trails in the Sky series, this direct sequel to Trails of Cold Steel (Sen no Kiseki II) picks up one month after the event that altered Erebonia's fate. The fast-paced, tactical turn-based combat using the ARCUS system returns, featuring the new Overdrive mode, new air and land transportation options, fresh allies and threats, and a renewed hope as Rean strives to mend the nation's chaos. Key features include save data transfer from the first title for bonuses and personalized interactions based on past relationships. Players can now utilize a personal airship for fast travel to various destinations, ride horses, and customize Angelica’s orbal bike for ground traversal. The Combat Link System returns with benefits like healing and guarding, alongside the new Overdrive mode which allows linked characters to attack for three consecutive turns. This PC release includes 50% more English voice-overs, ultrawide aspect ratio support, a turbo mode, and an instant resume feature to launch directly into recent saves from Steam.
