About This Game
That is what world-famous demon hunter Doug McGrave believed, until he crossed paths with the witch from Hellside. Now hexed to perform good deeds without pay, with his energy constantly fading, Doug must earn his power back. Do not slow down. Slowing down allows the curse to take hold!! The Weaponographist is a fast-paced, top-down dungeon-crawling arena combat game. Enthusiasts might classify it as a "Roguelike". You play as Doug McGrave, the celebrated demon hunter for hire. Highest level, greatest gear, ruggedly handsome, and unrepentant jerk. Because you refused to help a pathetic demon-infested town, you are immediately—and righteously—cursed. Your powers, wealth, and weapons… Poof! Vanished. To break the curse, you must utilize any weapons you come across. Swords, chainsaws, machine guns, pogo sticks… Wield them while possible. Because they will disintegrate in your hands. I cannot think of a curse that ever benefited anyone. And this one is especially bad. Fill your combo meter by defeating evil, slay demons to recover your strength, and weaken the curse while you can. But be careful. When you are not attacking, your combo drains quickly, and the curse continues to sap your power. Only by rapidly killing monsters, adjusting to new weapons, and lifting the curse in pieces can Doug navigate the dungeon depths and escape this small town. Roguelike adventure in a fast arena filled with various creatures to slaughter. Heart-pounding weapon swaps requiring constant adaptation to defeat enemy hordes. A frantic curse requiring constant engagement to beat the difficulty. Loads of demon gore to trade with Hellside merchants for powerful upgrades. Epic soundtrack by Christopher Hoag. Go out, destroy a bunch of stuff, and do not feel guilty. -The Weaponographist
