About This Game

Ageod’s To End All Wars plunges players into a grand strategy simulation of World War I. You are tasked with leading a major power amidst the desperate fight for European supremacy, striving to bring an end to the conflict. The game engine has been customized to accurately portray the unique warfare of the Great War, enabling the construction of extensive trench lines and allowing air units to conduct missions far behind enemy frontiers. This release also introduces revamped diplomacy and research systems. These additions, built upon the classic Ageod foundation, result in one of the most expansive and intricate titles in the catalog. Note: The manual is available exclusively in English. The game covers Europe from the Western coast to the Volga, as well as the Middle-East and global off-map regions, spanning 1914 to 1918. The map consists of over 3,000 diverse regions featuring varied terrain, climates, and development levels. Included are a tutorial and two primary scenarios: a historical start in August 1914 and an open start allowing players to execute their own war plans. The game features over 1,600 historical leaders, rated on their abilities, and more than 900 unit types ranging from infantry and cavalry to artillery, aircraft, and battleships. Manage your nation's economy by directing spending on military, economic, research, and diplomatic efforts through assets and production centers. An innovative Regional Decision Card system allows you to influence the campaign through events like espionage, surprise attacks, and trench warfare tactics. The simulation incorporates detailed mechanics for weather, attrition, supply, front lines, and fog of war. Throughout the game, historical events will trigger, offering critical decisions that can impact everything from local uprisings to foreign interventions. Battlefield tactics give players the power to alter the outcome of engagements. The game also provides detailed coverage of sieges and naval combat. Technologies evolve over time through a combination of events and the card system. Finally, a Chain of Command structure allows for the organization of units into brigades, divisions, corps, and armies, with leaders assigned to command them.
