Tyr: Chains of Valhalla draws its inspiration from Norse mythology, specifically focusing on the Ragnarök. Within a high-tech society relying on mega-corporations like Yggdrasil, massive entities compete endlessly for global dominance, making enemies a common occurrence; a stabilizing force is needed in the metropolis. Tyr, engineered by Professor Oswald Din (also known as O.Din), is tasked with stopping Lemuz Oki (L.Oki) from shattering the world order, establishing a realm of chaos, seizing the top technology firm, and achieving total global control. Aided by Huginn & Muninn ("thought" and "memory") and his loyal Sleipnir, Tyr will ascend to the peak of Valhalla to thwart the malicious schemes of L.Oki and his army of vikings and robots. Set in a Nordic cyberpunk reality where corporate conflicts devastate the known world, a champion must restore equilibrium.
