A terrifying Chieftain is mustering forces to dominate the realm, and the populace begs for a savior. Your task is to build a town, marshal an army, and arm your subjects. Align with allies like dwarves, amazons, and sorceresses to thwart the invasion. The game boasts 7 basic units with 15 upgrades, a story illustrated with beautiful art, and three distinct classes—Warlord, Sorcerer, and Treasurer—offering over 70 skills. A wide variety of spells are available, including Firewall and Meteor Shower, though only four can be taken into combat. Modes include Classic, Challenge, Survival, Maze, Hero Defense, Attack/Defend, and Co-op. The workshop allows for multi-tier upgrades to defenders. Unlike standard games, you place defenders on stones that appear during the level; Warstones offer significant bonuses. You can summon Peasants, Archers, Riflemen, Sorceresses, and Elementals, each with unique paths and abilities. Attack/Defense modes feature Eagles and Wolves. The campaign includes 30 missions with three modes and four difficulty levels, awarding stars and tracking scores on leaderboards. After four missions, you can specialize in a class: Warlords boost army strength and stone powers, Treasurers maximize gold gains and item capacity, and Sorcerers focus on spellcasting with up to eight spells and mana regeneration.
