World War 2: Time of Wrath

Designed to welcome new players while satisfying veterans, Time of Wrath offers accessible rules combined with a deep historical setting and detailed Orders of Battle. This strategy game covers the European and North African theaters from 1939 to 1948, featuring over 20,000 land hexes and more than 30 playable countries. Players can manage simplified economics to focus on military operations, engaging in air and land combat that includes sieges, interceptions, and strategic bombardment. The naval system allows for the construction and management of aircraft carriers, battle groups, and submarines within specific sea zones. Diplomacy revolves around the three main alliances—Axis, Allies, and Comintern—offering actions to influence war entry and politics. The simulation includes weather effects, a logistics system, and customizable Fog of War revealed by reconnaissance. Gameplay features hundreds of historical events, a technology race for the atomic bomb, and historical commanders. With support for hot-seat and PBEM modes, players can enjoy standard campaigns or diverse starting scenarios. The game also boasts extensive moddability, allowing for scenario customization, borders editing, and unit graphics modification.
