About This Game

Worlds Adrift is a unique MMO where the entire world is constructed by the community; looking out, every island dotting the horizon was made by a player using our free Island Creator. We chose to avoid procedural generation because we knew players could build a more engaging and dynamic world, a decision validated over the last two years with over 1,000 islands created. From thick tropical jungles and vast craters to abandoned megacomplexes, every island is distinct, meticulously designed, and offers a singular adventure. Every island holds the potential to be included in the final game, where it will be explored by thousands. Initially an internal tool, the Island Creator provides a wide array of models and textures to build something unique. You can choose terrain, architectural styles, and construct networks of buildings and passages. With more than 1,000 assets available, you can craft a totally distinct experience, whether it is a crumbling city or a forest hideout, creating a narrative for others to find. Switch to play mode to walk through your island from a player's perspective to see what works and what needs adjustment. Visit the Steam Workshop to browse an archive of islands submitted by the community, ready for you to explore, test, and rate. Then, jump into Worlds Adrift to experience the adventure firsthand. Explore. Build. Unite.
