About This Game
A demo is currently accessible, allowing players to experience the initial two chapters at no cost, and the official soundtrack is available for listening. Explore the newest title from Pendulo Studios, the developers behind the Runaway franchise. Yesterday Origins follows the immortal couple, John Yesterday and Pauline, as they travel across the globe and through different time periods, creating a rich narrative. The story begins in 1481, where young John faces public humiliation at night and is imprisoned by the Spanish Inquisition on charges of witchcraft. He later undergoes an alchemical ritual granting immortality, but a flaw causes him to lose his memory entirely every time he is resurrected. In modern times, John resides in Paris with Pauline, searching for an artifact essential for recreating the potion. Throughout their inquiry, they confront dangerous new adversaries intent on stealing their secrets. The game features over 20 years of development experience from Pendulo Studios, an original plot spanning multiple distinct eras, and a blend of investigation, thriller, adventure, and occultism. It includes the studio's signature off-beat dark humor, over 10 locations with 50 backgrounds, and a cast of more than 25 vibrant characters. An original musical score is included, and the game supports both mouse and controller inputs.
