Ys Origin

Set 700 years prior to the events of Ys I & II, the land of Ys faced destruction by demon hordes. The twin Goddesses moved their subjects to the sky, but the enemy constructed a tower to pursue them. When the Goddesses vanished into the Devil's Tower, a search party including apprentice knight Yunica Tovah and sorcerer Hugo Fact was sent to retrieve them. This title refines the gameplay of Ys: The Ark of Napishtim and Ys: The Oath in Felghana by introducing new playstyles and features. It is an arcade-style platformer RPG with Metroidvania elements and a complex story, offering screen-filling bosses, platforming challenges, and puzzles. Key features include English localization, three playable characters, five difficulty levels, Time Attack and Boss Rush modes, an Arena Mode, Steam Achievements, Cloud support, leaderboards, high-resolution graphics, and customizable controls.
